    Ultra-fine filtration is here and changing the way we filter water. The ability to filter water right down to 0.1 micron, takes away the need for powered U/V appliances. This is of particular relevance in older homes where power points are not readily found under sinks..

    UF - HF (Ultra Fine Hollow Fibre) filtration is wide spread in commercial applications, where they can be backwashed and re-used. However given the domestic nature of residential drinking water filtration, backwashing isn’t viable - particularly now that the prices for this type of filtration have dropped to reasonable values. The price drop is all thanks to the ever growing demand of this revolutionary new filtration option.

    The in-line version has a multitude of applications from retrofitting to standard twin system or stand-alone filtering for camper van, caravan, and motor homes. This filter delivers safe water regardless of the water supply it is being used on at the time. This is not reverse osmosis so there is no waste water but you still obtain 0.1 micron filtering.

    This sytem was designed in an "outside -in” direction so the life of the filter is enormously extended, but like all filtration the dirtier the water, the faster the cartridge will expire.

    4-Stage Filtration

    Stage 1: Sediment 5 Micron Filter

    Best suited for tank water, rivers, creeks or streams. Anywhere where there is a heavy level of debris or sediment in the water, which may cause standard filters to block prematurely, this sediment filter can do the job.

    This gives them a higher surface area to catch more debris and a much longer life duration before replacement is necessary. They can be washed and removed from time to time again, until they begin to perforate, then they will need to be replaced. 

    We choose to use this sediment filter over all other types due to:

    • High performance
    • High flow rate
    • High load capacity
    • Inabilty to grow bacterial slime

    These filters are IDEAL for:

    • Tank water filtration
    • Pre carbon filtration
     

    Stage 2: 0.1 Micron Ultrafine Filtration

    This Ultrafine Filtration cartridge, filters to 0.1 Micron.

    Blocks Giardia and Crypto, which are commonly found in tank & non-municipal supplies. May eliminate the need for costly U/V Light Systems.

    No waste water produced unlike Reverse Osmosis Systems.

    Stage 3: Chemical Removal Carbon Block

    The introduction of this high grade 0.5 micron carbon block is set to rival the US made range of 0.5 micron filters and bring some fresh competition into the market place.

    For many years if you wanted a 0.5 micron carbon block you have to choose from a range of US manufactured cartridges at an obviously inflated price. In more recent times the US brands have been manufactured in China or other Asian countries like Singapore or Thailand. Based on comments from customers - and also from our own experience, it's been made pretty clear that the Asian manufactured US branded cartridges are no longer top of the tree - but surprise surprise, while the quality has plummeted the prices have remained right up there.

    In response to this we have a PREMIUM QUALITY, 100% coconut carbon cartridge at a genuine 0.5 micron rating.

    It's taken 18 months of research and development and a bucket load of money to have this cartridge developed, but it's worth it.     Stage 4: Calcite/Carbon pH Elevation Cartridge

    Guaranteed to raise the pH to neutral 7 pH, although our testing has shown that we are reaching a much higher pH of around 8.4 - 8-9 at least while the cartridge is new.

    The life of the cartridge is still 12 months as is the case for all cartridges containing carbon.

    Running this cartridge beyond 12 months could run the risk not only of poor quality, taste or odour - but also could loose the ability to produce alkaline water.

     

    Maintenance and Replacement Cartridges

    The Triple Under Sink 0.1 micron Ultra Fine Water Filter with pH Elevation is guaranteed to deliver clean and safe drinking water.

    • Change filters regularly every 6 to 12 months.
    • Use only cartridges suitable for this appliance.
    • Flush system for 5 minutes after a period of non-use exceeding 30 days.
    PLEASE NOTE: All filters should be changed every 6 to 12 months at the latest or 8,000 litres. Not changing your filters regularly can cause bacteria to grow and contaminate the water.

    CANCELATION AND RETURNS

    Due to the nature of the products we sell, a strict return policy is in place. We work with food grade certified materials that must be un-opened and un-used to be able to be re-sold.

    You will receive a credit of equal amount, less the postage cost to send your selected replacement item to you.  You may have to pay for an upgrade if the selected item has a higher value then what was purchased originally, Unless the item is deemed faulty in which case the full purchase price is refunded or item is replaced at no cost to the customer.

    • Wrongly purchased items may be returned for a merchandise credit, this applies for but not limited to: Wrong size, wrong system etc.
    • Orders cancelled after purchase and before shipping will incur a $20 cancellation and administration fee.
